5,000 Dollar Raffle

The Paul Mayberry Memorial Scholarship Fundraiser Raffle will feature a limited sale of only 100 numbered tickets. Each ticket will be sold for $100, creating a maximum fundraising pool of $10,000. Once all 100 tickets are sold, one winning ticket will be randomly selected to receive a grand prize of $5,000, while the remaining $5,000 will directly support the scholarship fund and its mission to honor Paul’s legacy. 

 

To ensure fairness and transparency, if all 100 tickets are not sold, the total prize amount and scholarship proceeds will be adjusted proportionally based on total ticket sales. The fundraiser will continue to follow a 50/50 structure, meaning half of the proceeds will go to the winning ticket holder and half will support the scholarship fund.

Raffle Overview

This is a separate fundraising raffle, distinct from the main scholarship fund. With a $5,000 grand prize, every entry directly supports the scholarship's mission to honor Paul Mayberry's legacy through education.

  • If all 100 tickets are sold, the winner receives $5,000 and the scholarship fund receives $5,000.

  • If only 80 tickets are sold, the total collected would be $8,000. In that case, the winner would receive $4,000 and the scholarship fund would receive $4,000.

  • If 60 tickets are sold, the total collected would be $6,000, with $3,000 awarded to the winner and $3,000 supporting the scholarship fund.

This raffle structure allows supporters to contribute to a meaningful cause while also having the opportunity to win a significant cash prize.

Raffle Rules & Eligibility

  • Eligibility: Open to all supporters aged 18 and older. Participation directly supports the scholarship mission but is not a scholarship award itself.
  • Drawing Date: The lucky winner will be selected in a live drawing on May 12th, 2026.
  • Winner Notification: The grand prize winner will be contacted directly via email and phone within 24 hours of the drawing.
  • Official Rules: 50% of proceeds go toward the Paul Mayberry Memorial Scholarship fund and 50% go to the winner.
